DeSantis says Biden's address "one of the most disgusting speeches an American president has ever given," calling him "the American Nero" and "a failed leader."

CNN is facing questions from critics after the network was busted altering the lighting for President Biden’s Thursday address, softening the blood-red hues to calmer shades of pink.

The president came in for withering mockery online for the harsh black and red backdrop, with many comparing the optics to “Star Wars” and “V for Vendetta.”

Biden Brings the War on Terror Home

President Biden in his primetime speech Thursday sure sounded like a man preparing to criminalize Trumpism. Is the White House expanding the great policy error of our time?

A major discrepancy has surfaced between the "detailed property inventory" DOJ filed with the court and the inventory receipt the FBI gave Trump's attorney the day of the search. Nowhere on the detailed inventory sheet does it list docs with "Top Secret/SCI documents" as it states on item "2A" of the receipt. Also, the photo of "2A" items shows coversheets with "Top Secret/SCI" on them, yet again, the detailed inventory does not account for any SCI material, which is the most sensitive classified information requiring reading in a secure SCIF facility. Was there, in fact, no such material found at Mar-a-Lago? Did DOJ mislead the court -- and public -- with that staged photo it included as an exhibit?

Poland's leaders said Thursday the country will demand reparations from Germany to the tune of $1.3 trillion, which they argue is equivalent to the damages caused by the invasion and occupation of Poland during World War II.

Tyrannical old Joe’s secret police state

"[W]hat Biden and the puppeteers who guide him are doing is very sinister. They appear to be preparing the ground for an even harsher crackdown on his political opponents by the security state, which has become, to all appearances, his secret police."

Carter Page cannot sue the FBI or numerous other involved former officials over a series of forged FISA warrants, a judge sitting in Washington, D.C. ruled late Thursday.

“There is little question that many individual defendants, as well as the agency as a whole, engaged in wrongdoing,” Friedrich writes. “Even so, Page has brought no actionable claim against any individual defendant or against the United States.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sending migrant buses to Chicago isn’t ‘racist’

"If Lightfoot believes she’s so morally superior, she should be ready to welcome hundreds of thousands of migrants. Feed them, house them, give them jobs, make sure they’re not shot and killed in Chicago.

Anything else would be racist."

Biden's use of "Hail to the Chief" for a blatantly political speech was a violation of protocol

Paul Sperry

"Biden and his secret police are just a few steps away now from criminalizing voting for a Trump-endorsed candidate or for Trump himself again . . .This is the first time in American history that a president in so many words threatened voters not to vote for his and his party's opponents."

John Podhoretz

"Joe Biden has become America’s leading troll — and he’s trolling Donald Trump. The president’s supposedly grand speech in “defense of democracy” under attack by “Trump and the MAGA Republicans” was hardly a visionary call to renew our commitment to the Republic."

Legal Insurrection

"Joe Biden’s speech tonight, claiming to be a presidential address demanding free network coverage, was so far over the top its almost indescribable. It wasn’t just an attack on another candidate, it was a Declaration of War in demonic terms on the roughly half of the electorate who voted for that candidate."

Manipulating the criminal code to find a basis to search the home of a political enemy represents an appalling weaponization of the criminal justice system.
