The concept of a people’s history has a lot of potential but not when its perspective is that of an anarchist/socialist who hates capitalism.  From Zinn’s perspective, the history of America is nothing more than a story of how the elites have continuously screwed everyone else.  This book should be read only by those with a balanced knowledge of America.
