Cliff's Book Notes - Justice on Trial

Coincidentally, I was reading this book when the latest bulltweedle allegations surfaced.  I am open to  the argument that the First Amendment's "public figure" slander defense should not apply to claims unrelated to one's role as a public figure or before one became a public figure.  I wish someone would sue on Kavanaugh's behalf and "take it to The Hague" if need be.

Leland Keiser might be the unwilling hero of Kavanaugh’s confirmation.  Despite painful injuries, a drug addiction and difficult recovery, two divorces, immense pressure from fellow Kavanaugh-hating libs to change her story, and days spent trying to corroborate Blasey Ford’s claim she was at the party, Keiser maintained consistently she was not at the party, did not recall any such incident, and did not know Kavanaugh.  (I am attributing her honesty to the fact she is a golf pro who plays life as it lies as best she can.)
